Be aware that it is chrome-plated ABS and I was surprised at the "lightness" of the part ($50 seems like a lot for plastic, but too little for chromed metal). That said, I really like the look of this piece. One minor hiccup with the part: the supplied 50mm stainless screws are supposed to replace the 40mn, black-oxide OEM lens mounting screws, but the part is only 5mm thick at the mounting bosses. Unfortunately, they appear to be machine thread screws (not made for plastic) and they are 5mm too long & bottomed out in the mounting boss before they are fully tight.. Had I been using a screw gun, it probably would have broken my light fixture when they bottomed out. I contacted the manufacturer and informed them of the issue, so hopefully they will change the supplied screws. That said, I really like the look of this piece. Even with these caveats, would buy again. Did I mention that I really like the look of this piece?
