The Fender is not perfect when it comes out the box. I had to do a few hours of bondo and sanding to get it smooth. It's not a perfect fit with the factory cut holes. So i had to re-drill the mouting holes to line up properly. Factory seat does not work with this fender will have to buy new Britt fender. Which does not have any mounting bracket for it. I had to custom build my own so it wouldnt blow off while sitting. But once all the hours of work was done it turned out really nice. Def. a need for the VN 900.

It does look very sharp. Not a bolt right up, and no instructions on mounting. The stock seat does not seam to fit with the new lines so I will need to buy a new one also. I think when I am done all the work I need to on this fender, I should have just gotten a steel fender blank

It is made of fiberglass, not steel. Fit and finish is not perfect and will need some work before paint, but still a nice looking fender and worth the extra effort.

It does cleanup the rear very well, but with the solo seat also bought at mean cycles... the fit wasn't good right off the shelf..... had to drill and weld new rearward holes raising the fender about 3/8" in the rear. After that the seat and factory trim fit perfect.

Cleans up the 900 rear nicely. I used the fender witht 240 tire...real close fit. Fender was clean, just needs primer and paint, welds were nice where the license plate is. Installation was easy. I used it with the 240 tire and had to shim the fender to frame mounts so that the tire was evenly spaced to the frame. Without shims there was ~1" between tire and left of fender and close to 0 tolerance on the right. Had to shim and slight grind the left decorative plastic so that it lined up well from the fender distances. It will bolt right up but you may not be 100% happy with the results without extra mod time.
